A portrait project of teeneagers and young men taken travelling in Morocco from Marrakech, south to Essaouira,Taghazout, Sidi Ifni and Mirleft.

Photo. Shot on medium format film. C-type print Sidris is from Senegel, he's 20, really sweet. He was selling what he said was his art in the Marrakech main square, it was pictures made from butterfly wings of his village back in Senegal. He was with a group of young boys and men, all hustling and selling stuff, the older guys where selling iphones. We would go and speak to them every day we where in marrakech, they were really funny.  They'd all travelled together in a car from Senegal to get to Morocco, which seemed pretty full on. They all had great style, very street.  I thought Sidris had the look of some cool kid from Peckham or east London. I bought one of his pictures off him for £10 for letting me take his photo. Their lives, where they'd come from and the effort they'd taken to get to Morocco really intrigued me.
Photo. Shot on medium format film. C-type print I met this guy by one of the cafe's he worked in in Taghazout. We didn't really manage to chat much as he didn't speak French, I paid hime 15 Dirham to take his photo, he tried to get more.
Photo. Shot on medium format film. C-type print. I don't know this guy's name, he told me he is a student though, he was with a group of his friends when I posed him for this photo. I paid hime 20 dirham to take his photo.
Photo. Shot on medium format film. C-type print I met him at his brothers shop, I liked his attitude and leather jacket.
Photo. Shot on medium format film. C-type print I met Patera walking along the beach at Sidi Ifni, he's 24, an artist, he sells his work on the beach. He came to Sidi Ifni to be an artist from Gran Canaria. He paints beach scenes on small stones and bits of wood and makes necklaces.  He's also a surfer, doing surf schools for the local youngsters and he campaigns to get the beach cleaned up and hygenic as that is a bit of a problem in Morocco!
Photo. Shot on medium format film. C-type print. I met these two in Taghazout while walking back to my apartment, they where drying off after being in the water.
